QMS Internal Auditor Training

The Manufacturing Technology Center will be presenting a 2-day course of QMS Internal Auditor Training.  The purpose of this course is to train and qualify individuals to serve as internal auditor at their company or business. The course will focus on the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System standard and the role of an Internal Auditor. 

Through a combination of lecture, exercises, and practice audits, this 16 hour course will give students a working understanding of the purpose of internal audits and how to plan and conduct audits. The class will be conducted for 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day.  Lunch is provided.

Course Objectives

To help the participants understand:

·         The ISO 9001-2000 standard

·         Purpose of a QMS

·         Quality Management Principles

·         Process model of the ISO standard

·         Principles of Internal Auditing

·         The ISO 9001 emphasis on Customer Focus

·         Community College Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) awarded

 

The fee for this course is $425 per participant.  Fee includes training material.
